Really fun, and beats out RF pierce narga in a bunch of match ups. Two negatives about the build: Stationary shooting, which isn't really too bad, just have to be more mindful of positioning. Low ammo count for slicing. Fortunately, the Zinogre LBG can also RF Normal 2 and Piercing Thunder Ammo. Slicing is stupid strong atm. Get Zinogre's LBG, then stack affinity skills and crit boost. Get spare shot of course, you only get 60 shots with crafts. Versus monsters with heads or other parts very weak to cutting (55+ or 15+ above shot), this set up will easily sub 5 with a little practice (Got the new "hidden" monster in 4:30 with it).You'll want to reach 100% affinity (from Weakness Exploit, MM only if with MM secret, affinity augments, critical eye, agitator etc) and crit boost 3 to boost your dmg. Normal shots 2 for a +20% dmg. Add in Free Element 2 for normal 2 ammo, or Free element 3 for normal 3 ammo. Had the same thought, actually. I created a character a while back just to play with my wife and decided to run a Shrapnel build because of how spastic the monsters are in multiplayer. Toss in the wirebug vault skill and sticking a few mines to the monster and they light up like a Christmas tree with every shrapnel.

Any gun with rpf normal 2 and at least moving shot is great. Best one to use is Daora Hornet, but other options include anything with rpf normal 2.
