If the proximity VOIP works and you can talk when being close, then radios should, at least that's my case. So saves work in two ways it binds to the username you choose for the server and the IP the server was on. If the servers IP were to change or you logged in with a different username, then the character would have to start from scratch again. So don't change the username and opefully server IP won't change. When you log out, it saves. Don't worry.
