Dark infused estoc? I use a hex mage so I already set him up with a dark estoc. :) The rapier only needs 5str 12dex, where the estoc requires 12/12, but yh it wasn't really a serious suggestion as it all depends on preference, if you don't like the parry on R2 the rapier is no good tbh.

Estoc has my favourite strong attack in the game, is reasonably powerful, quite quick, is quite long, and has all the utility that the thrusting swords have. Balder side sword is probably slightly better, but I think the estoc is more fun and the blocking attack can really help in a bind. For pvp it depends, the rapier has higher critical damage but the estoc has higher base damage, making it a better choice for turtling. i have 60/36 int\fth with 16/16 str/dex and i've been using the rapier/estoc like crazy. I used the enchanted my rapier, and honestly the damage increase as been pretty nice, but it's almost the same. maybe at most, 50-100ish damage more per stab. Bare in mind that bk and estoc do different dmg types I think whilst estoc generally outdmgs bandit knife that enemy may have had more resistance ti whatevrr dmg type giving you close results. Generally for critical dmg only its > high base dmg weapons 650ish starts to outdmg rapier -700 ohtclasses them by a lot > rapier > estoc > bandit knife.
